1975年10月7日生まれ。9歳でテニスを始め、名門柳川高校を経て、インターハイ、全日本ジュニアなどジュニアタイトルを総なめにする。18歳でプロに転向し、国内外のツアーで転戦。デビスカップ代表にも選出され、96年、00年にはオリンピックにも出場。05年のAIGジャパンオープンでは、鈴木貴男とともに日本人初のATPダブルス優勝を果たす。また同年12月の全日本選手権では単複優勝を飾った。
ルネサンス所属。

韓国

いま韓国にいます。韓国といえば焼肉！昨日は杉田君と食事に行きました。僕はまだ来たばかりですが、彼は先週から来ていてほぼ毎日焼肉だそうです。ちなみに杉田君はご飯を６杯食べてました、自分の十代の時の食欲を思い出しました。
おいしい焼き肉でした。

The main purpose of the minimum wage is to give people with little or no bargaining power a wage floor to stand on. Can an 18 year old fairly negotiate with corporate giants like Walmart? A company that does everything in it’s power to prevent their employees from organizing unions so they can have an equal seat at the bargaining table.
