1975年10月7日生まれ。9歳でテニスを始め、名門柳川高校を経て、インターハイ、全日本ジュニアなどジュニアタイトルを総なめにする。18歳でプロに転向し、国内外のツアーで転戦。デビスカップ代表にも選出され、96年、00年にはオリンピックにも出場。05年のAIGジャパンオープンでは、鈴木貴男とともに日本人初のATPダブルス優勝を果たす。また同年12月の全日本選手権では単複優勝を飾った。
ルネサンス所属。

寒い日が続いていますが、皆様お元気ですか？
昨日はヨネックス本社で社長に今年の報告とお礼のご挨拶をさせていただいて、その後いつもお世話になっているヨネックスの社員の皆さんが僕とまきちゃんの全日本ダブルス優勝の祝勝会をしてくれました。パートナーのトシはアメリカに行っていて残念ながら参加できませんでした。

プロの選手って、オフになってもいろいろなイベントや行事があるんですね。お疲れさまです。
全日本のダブルス優勝！！　岩渕選手の男子決勝はもちろん、新井選手の女子決勝も目の前で見ていました。あの感動がよみがえります。
来年もこんなシーンがたくさん見られますように！！

Oh cool, thanks for the explanation. I’m stuck with AT&T because I still have my $30 unlimited data plan, but I wonder if they have something similar and whether I’d use it enough to make it worth it.
